The Aircraft Carrier Industrial Base Coalition (ACIBC) represents businesses that supply parts, equipment and services for the construction and maintenance of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers. Established in 2004, ACIBC seeks to preserve the strength of the aircraft carrier force and promote the value of the aircraft carrier industrial base as a vital part of the nation's overall defense structure.

American Shipbuilding Suppliers Association

National Defense Industrial Association

The National Defense Industrial Association drives strategic dialogue in national security by identifying key issues and leveraging the knowledge and experience of its military, government, industry, and academic members to address them. NDIA, comprised of its affiliates, chapters, divisions, and 1,600 corporate and 85,000 individual members, is a non-partisan, non-profit, educational association that has been designated by the IRS as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization - not a lobby firm - and was founded to educate its constituencies on all aspects of national security.

Navy League of the United States

The Navy League of the United States, founded in 1902 with the support of President Theodore Roosevelt, is a nonprofit civilian, educational and advocacy organization that supports America’s sea services: the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and U.S.-flag Merchant Marine. As part of its mission focus, the Navy League of the United States enhances the morale of sea service personnel and their families through national and council level programs, provides a powerful voice to educate the public and Congress on the importance of our Sea Services to our nation’s defense, well-being and economic prosperity and supports youth through programs, such as the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Junior ROTC and Young Marines, that expose young people to the values of our sea services.

Nuclear Energy Institute

The Nuclear Energy Institute is the policy organization of the nuclear technologies industry, based in Washington, D.C. NEI has hundreds of members across the world and, with their involvement, develops policy on key legislative and regulatory issues affecting the industry. NEI was founded in 1994 from the merger of several nuclear energy industry organizations, the oldest of which was created in 1953.

Port of San Diego Ship Repair Association

Established in 1982 to increase industry cooperation and cohesiveness and create greater public awareness and understanding of the industry’s issues, the Port of San Diego Ship Repair Association represents more than 150 San Diego-area companies engaged in ship repair, conversion, overhaul and modernization. Approximately 70 percent of the work performed is on United States Navy and Defense Contracts.

Shipbuilders Council of America

The Shipbuilders Council of America represents hundreds of companies that own and operate shipyards across the United States, including facilities on all three U.S. coasts, the Great Lakes, the inland waterways system, Alaska and Hawaii. SCA also represents the supplier and partner members that provide critical goods and services to the U.S. shipyard industry.

Submarine Industrial Base Council

Established in 1992, the Submarine Industrial Base Council seeks to educate policymakers and the public about the need to preserve the strength of the U.S. submarine force and promote the value of the submarine industrial base as a vital part of our national security. The SIBC encourages its membership to engage in dialogue with decision and policy makers and can provide materials at the local, state and national level. On occasion, the SIBC issues media statements and provides background information for members of the national and local media.

Undersea Technology Innovation Consortium
