Curtiss-Wright Receives Contract for Aircraft Handling Systems Supporting The Indian Coast Guard Program To Provide The Mantis-Ram Aircraft Tug System

CHESWICK, PA – June 30, 2021 – Curtiss-Wright’s EMS division today announced it has received an order to provide eleven of its MANTIS-RAM Aircraft Tug systems in support of Indian Coast Guard requirements. The contract was issued by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) of India in support of its contract with the Indian Coast Guard for the supply of HAL’s Dhruv Mk III helicopter.

Curtiss-Wright’s INDAL business will manufacture and test all MANTIS-RAM Aircraft Tugs at its facility based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Curtiss-Wright has delivered customized aircraft handling solutions to several of the world’s leading navies.
