To Supply Aircraft Ship Integrated Secure and Traverse (ASIST) System

Cheswick, PA – March 17, 2023 – Curtiss-Wright’s EMS Division today announced that it has received a contract award from NAVANTIA SA S.M.E. for the supply of five (5) Aircraft Ship Integrated Secure and Traverse (ASIST) systems. The ASIST system will be the primary helicopter secure and traversing system on the F110 Class Frigates for the Spanish Navy.

Curtiss-Wright’s INDAL business unit, based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, will perform the work for the F110 Class Frigates with the first ASIST delivery scheduled in 2025. The F110 class multi-mission frigates are being developed by Navantia for the Spanish Navy and will be built at Navantia’s Ferrol shipyard in Spain
